ITINERARY

DAY 1 SINGAPORE - ROME

Troop down to Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to resplendent Rome, capital of Italy.

DAY 2 ROME

Highlights:

Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain

Upon arrival, visit the Spanish Steps, the widest staircase in Europe. Movie buffs take heed, for you might find this attraction familiar as it was made rather famous by the film “Roman Holiday”, starring Audrey Hepburn. Then, make a wish at the baroque Trevi Fountain.

DAY 3 ROME - FLORENCE

Highlights:

Colosseum, The Mall

Begin your morning by visiting Colosseum in its resplendent glory where ancient gladiators once battled each other for the public’s entertainment. If you close your eyes and concentrate hard, you might hear the roaring crowd rooting for their favourite gladiator. This afternoon, get ready for a shopping spree at The Mall, the most famous outlet centre in Tuscany. The outlet specializes in famous fashion designer shops, among the international brands are Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo. Armani, Valentino, Tod’s and many more.

DAY 4 FLORENCE

Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Baptistery of St John, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio

Today, enjoy touring the lovely city of Florence. See the city’s main sights like the multi-coloured Duomo, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Baptistery of St John and Piazza della Signoria with its amazing sculptures. You will also see the famous bridge, Ponte Vecchio, one of the city’s most famous landmarks. To end the night on a high note, enjoy a delish and lovely 5-course Tuscan dinner with Florentine steak and wine.

DAY 5 FLORENCE - PISA - VENICE

Cathedral, Baptistery, Leaning Tower of Pisa

This morning, travel to Pisa to admire the cathedral, baptistery and the world-renowned Leaning Tower of Pisa at Campo dei Miracoli, also known as Field of Miracles. There is no better place to go trigger-happy with your camera or your smartphone than here. Create your picture-perfect moments with the world-renowned attraction. Next, journey along the Italian Alps to Venice.

DAY 6 VENICE - MILAN

St Mark’s Square, St Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs, St Mark’s Campanile, Venetian Glass Factory, Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

This morning, take a motor launch to splendidly divine St Mark’s Square. See famed monuments such as St Mark’s Basilica, which features the craved likenesses of the Roman Empire’s 4 rulers, Doge’s Palace, one of the main landmarks of the city, Bridge of Sighs, so named because it was the last glimpse of freedom that convicts had before they were imprisoned, and St Mark’s Campanile. Visit a Venetian glass factory and be fascinated by a master glassblower’s demonstration. If time and weather is in your favour, board the unforgettable gondola ride at your own expense. In the afternoon, head to Milan, fashion capital of Italy. Upon arrival, explore the city at your own leisure. Marvel at the magnificent Duomo and the glass and steel Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the first building in Italy to be lit by electricity.

DAY 7 MILAN - LUCERNE

Highlights:

Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument

After breakfast, enjoy the scenic views of mountains and serene countryside as you journey on to the picturesque township of Lucerne, Switzerland. Next, take a walking tour to Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. Then, spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax or shop for branded watches, famous Swiss chocolates and music boxes. You may choose to take an optional excursion to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, at your own expense.

DAY 8 LUCERNE - ENGELBERG - MT TITLE - LUCERNE

Highlights:

Mt Titlis

This morning, begin your tour with an excursion to Engelberg. From there, ascend Mt Titlis by cable car. Enjoy the view of the central Swiss Alps and have fun on the snowfields. You can choose to enjoy snowtubing and race down the track on a rubber tyre or take a wintry walk and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. Return to Lucerne in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 9 LUCERNE - BERN - MACON

Highlights:

Clock Tower, Bern Bear Park

Today, embark on a scenic drive to Bern, capital of Switzerland. Upon arrival, proceed to Bahnhofplatz and commence on a walking tour of the old town to view the beautiful fountains decorated with statues and the 16th-century astronomical Clock Tower with its many painted figures. On the same street stands house No. 49 Einstein House, once Albert Einstein’s home and where the great scientist wrote his “Theory of Relativity” in 1905. Not to be missed is a visit to the iconic Bern Bear Park, dedicated to the bear which is the protagonist of Bern’s coat of arms. Thereafter, transfer to Macon in France for your overnight stay.

DAY 10 MACON - PARIS

Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees Boulevard, Place de la Concorde, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Fragonard Perfumery

This morning, continue to Paris, City of Light. Immerse in the sights of Napoleon’s Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees Boulevard and Place de la Concorde on your city tour. Witness the iconic Eiffel Tower and celebrated Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the most magnificent masterpieces of Gothic architecture. Thereafter, check out Fragonard Perfumery, one of the largest perfumeries in France, and indeed, it also happens to be an awesome place to purchase exclusive French scents that won’t break the bank.

DAY 11 PARIS

Today, spend the day at leisure traversing the city. You may wish to visit the extravagantly grandiose Palace of Versailles at your own expense. This is after all, Paris.

DAY 12 PARIS - BRUSSELS - AMSTERDAM

Highlights:

Atomium, Royal Laeken Palace, Manneken Pis, Market Square, Grand Place, Dam Square, Royal Palace, Church of Amsterdam, National Monument

This morning, continue to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Your first stop is the magnificent Atomium. Drive past Royal Laeken Palace before arriving in the city to see the mascot of Brussels, Manneken Pis, the 16th and 17th-century Market Square and the beautiful Grand Place. After lunch, depart Belgium for Amsterdam in The Netherlands where some might say is the bicycle capital of the world. You will then proceed to Dam Square, where Amstel River was dammed in the 13th century, thus giving the city its name. Next, witness the stellar attractions of Amsterdam such as Royal Palace, Church of Amsterdam and the resplendent National Monument around the square.

Overnight accommodation may be in The Hague or Rotterdam.

DAY 13 AMSTERDAM

Highlights:

Zaanse Schans, Cheese Farm, Amsterdam Canal Cruise, Diamond House

Tour Zaanse Schans, a quaint Dutch village dotted with well-preserved windmills and cottages. Take the opportunity to visit a cheese farm and witness a wooden clog-making demonstration. Thereafter, return to Amsterdam to enjoy a refreshing canal cruise. Relax on board a glass-domed motor launch cruising down canals flanked by gabled houses. Next, be dazzled by the diamond house in Amsterdam and see master diamond craftsmen at work. Spend some time at leisure for photo-taking or shopping.

DAY 14 AMSTERDAM - SINGAPORE

If time permits, of course there is always last-minute shopping before bidding farewell to Amsterdam as you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
